What size crochet bunny basket does this pattern make?
Our Easter bunny baskets are about 3 inches tall and 3 inches across. Including the ears, the basket is between 5-1/2 and 6 inches tall, depending on exactly where you attach them.
We used Loops & Threads Impeccable yarn to make our baskets, which is on the thinner side for a worsted weight yarn. If you use a thicker worsted weight yarn your basket may be larger than ours.

How can I make a bigger crochet bunny basket?
It’s very easy to increase the overall size of your bunny basket simply by using a thicker yarn and/or a larger hook.
You can also add more increase rounds before the BLO round to make the base wider, and then add additional rounds afterward to make the basket taller.

This crochet bunny basket is a fun, feel-good project that comes together quickly and leaves plenty of room for personal touches. Whether it’s filled with Easter treats, used for decor, or gifted to someone special, this little basket is sure to bring smiles long after it’s finished. So enjoy the process, have fun with the details, and don’t forget to admire those cute bunny ears when you’re done!
