Even if you don’t drink coffee, you are going to LOVE these beautiful coffee filter crafts! I’m always amazed when you can make gorgeous accessories from boring, every day materials. Not to mention coffee filters are super cheap! When I was searching through Pinterest I was shocked by how many beautiful things you can make with a regular old coffee filter – Flowers, light fixtures, wrapping paper and even some pretty cool kids crafts!
Most of these are easy enough (for an adult) and some of them take a looooong time, but the finished product is amazing! For me, in a house with 3 young kids, I think it would be incredibly relaxing! Like my own little zen meditation camp as I wrinkle up thousands of little coffee filters for a wreath or that unbelievable light fixture!
I’ve had my eye out for easy crafts that I can do with my 5 year old when she’s home this summer. It’s going to be two long months with a 5 year old, 3 year old and a nursing 6 month old at home, so I’ve been in planning mode, trying to come up with fun activities and crafts to keep them happy and occupied without me going crazy. Most of these crafts don’t fall under the category of “easy enough for a 5 year old”, but they were so beautiful that I wanted to share them anyway!

I am going to have to come back to go thru all these again, so much wonderment, love it so much, the talent and imagination put into these. Looks like I’ll be going to dollar store for some coffee filters, lots of them. Am in paper flower making mode right now, can’t seem to make enuf. Have bit of mess on my kitchen counter and portable island but hubs doesn’t mind. (good thing).
Better get myself in shower and to bed, have jury duty tomorrow and we live few miles from town where it is. I’m not a morning person but no choice is being given. Will be back tomorrow after I get home. Happy week
