How to Make a Crochet Bead Bracelet
Create a beautiful crochet bead bracelet using embroidery floss and seed beads! This easy DIY jewelry project is easy to make, beginner-friendly, and perfect for adding handmade sparkle to any outfit.

Equipment
- Large eyed sewing needle (that will fit through beads)
Materials
- Embroidery floss
- 4mm Seed beads (to match floss)
- 2 Ribbon crimps (10mm)
- Lobster clasp
- 2 Jump rings (8mm)
Instructions
Step 1: Find what you need
- Gather your supplies and materials.
Step 2: Add the beads onto the floss
- Thread the embroidery floss onto a sewing needle.The needle should have a larger enough eye that the floss fits comfortably, but small enough that the beads will slip over it.
- Begin adding beads to the floss, slipping them over the needle one by one.
- Repeat until you've added 46 seed beads total.
- Remove the needle and slide the beads down the embroidery floss. Attach the floss to your crochet hook with a slip knot.
Step 4: Add in the beads
- Turn your work, ch 1, and insert 1 hdc into the first st.
- Slide one of the beads on the thread towards the hdc you just made, so it sits next to the st.
- Insert 1 hdc into the next st like normal, trapping the bead in the stitch.
- Repeat the last 2 steps (slide bead, 1 hdc) across, stopping at the last st.
- Insert 1 hdc into the last st (without a bead).
Step 5: Stitch the last row
- Turn your work and ch 2. Insert 1 hdc into each st across.
- Fasten off the yarn.
- Sew in the ends.
Step 6: Add jewelry hardware
- Place a ribbon crimp over one end of your bracelet, sandwiching the end of the bracelet between the 2 sides.
- Close the crimp tightly, using a pair of pliers.
- Repeat on the other side and add a jump ring to the crimp.
- Add a jump ring and lobster clasp to the first crimp.
- Your crochet bead bracelet is complete!
