My publisher, Page Street Publishing, said I can officially share my book cover with you! This will be a short post, just to show you the cover and to give you a bit of an update! (You can check out my last update on the book here.)
So here it is! My publisher’s amazing creative team, designed the cover and I think it looks awesome! What do you think?
My kids absolutely loved playing with the sock puppet that’s featured. I was going through my phone looking for pictures of them playing with the puppets, but it looks like I only snapped photos before we added hair.
So here they are on a Saturday morning last July, still in their pajamas, playing with their cute little bald sock puppets. They were so full of giggles and laughter, making funny voices – especially my little guy who was 2 at the time. So many good monster voices!
And here’s what the back of the book will look like. My publisher wrote the write up on the back of the book, not me. Mostly I’m clarifying that because they call me a “supermom”. Ha!
I’m not sure anyone has ever called me a supermom before? And I definitely don’t feel like one. Let me tell you, I couldn’t do this parenting thing without my amazing husband!
But I’m not going to lie, it does make me smile to see it in print on the back of a book! 🙂
And since we are sharing, here’s an image of the book jacket. With my name on the spine. Holy crazy feeling. My name is on a book! And it looks like a real book. (I still have to pinch myself.) What a crazy process this has been!
So there you have it! Just a quick little post to share my book cover with you! Stay tuned! I’ll be posting more about the book in the coming months before the book launches on June 26th, 2018. (Check out the next post about the book here and see a photo my husband snapped on his phone right after I got the first copy of my book in the mail!)
Let me know what you think of the cover in the comments below! Keep in mind there’s no changing it now! 🙂
Hi,
I am a recreational therapist and I do arts and crafts with the elderly and I love your ideas there easy and simple. Since your used to working with kids you know we have to do more with less. Would you be willing to make me a special price for your book. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michelle – I wish I could give you a discount, but all the books are being sold through a distributor and I have zero control over the pricing. Maybe you can request your local library get a copy?

WOW !!!! Congratulations !!!! The book looks great, makes the customer want to buy and find out how to make all the goodies inside… The items look very interesting and cute!!!! I like the whale and the pipe cleaner characters… I have gotten lots of craft ideas from mothers that had their kids (young) do the crafts. What a mess, they were using paint and water and of course had a job cleaning it up.
My daughters are grown with no kids, I do the crafts to sell at a craft show, if people will buy them !!!!!!
Just to let you know, I am thrilled I have an e-mail friend that is
an author !!!!!!!!
