Guys, I am ridiculously excited! My book, Low-Mess Crafts for Kids is FINALLY launching in a couple weeks on June 26! It’s been awhile since I gave you an update, so let’s talk about what’s been happening since my last post!
One day, out of the blue, I got a package in the mail. I wasn’t expecting it, but when I opened it up, it was a finished copy of my book. Wow. I was crazy excited! So this is a picture of me, right after I opened the package. Real and uncut! Messy hair, glasses, comfy clothes – I am too excited not to share this photo!
It is so crazy to hold it in my hands! I was smiling the rest of the day. And I took it to all my family events after I got it and made everyone flip through every single page. Slowly. haha
Here’s the finished cover. My kids absolutely loved playing with the sock puppet that’s featured. My publisher, Page Street Publishing, designed the cover and I think it looks so cute!
And do you know what the craziest part is? I googled my book name a few weeks ago, and good gracious, it looks like it’s going to be available all over the world!? It’s being distributed by MacMillan, but I didn’t realize how wide spread that made it. Besides being available at all the major bookstores in North America (even Walmart and Target), it’s already being listed in bookstores in Japan, Germany and Australia. What a crazy feeling!?
