How to Make Spring Slime

Have fun making this spring slime! Celebrate the season with this glittery and flowery slime. It's bright, cheerful, and SO EASY to make!

Step 1: Find what you need

  • Gather your supplies and materials.

Step 2: Mix the first ingredients

  • Pour 1/2 cup of clear glue into a bowl.

  • Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and stir to combine.

  • Then add 1 drop of food colouring.
    (You can add more for a brighter slime, but we wanted a pastel look.)

  • Once the food colouring is mixed in, add iridescent glitter into the glue mixture. Measure with your heart!

  • Finally, pour in some clay flower charms or another fun spring-themed add-in (read some fun ideas below!).

Step 3: Activate the slime

  • Add 2-1/4 teaspoons of contact lens solution to the bowl.

  • Stir until you can't anymore. The slime should be thick and pull away from the bowl, but it'll still be a bit sticky at this point.

  • Pick up the slime and stretch and knead it with your hands. This should remove any stickiness from the slime, but if it doesn't you can add more contact solution a few drops at a time.

  • Optional: Store the slime in an airtight container overnight. This will remove bubbles from the slime, clearing it up and darkening the colour a little bit.
