Make super satisfying crunchy slime with this easy DIY recipe! Packed with foam beads, this fun slime is perfect for squishing, stretching, and hearing that addictive crackle.
Add 2 to 3 drops of food colouring in the colour of your choice. If you want a darker colour, add more. Stir to combine.
Step 3: Activate the slime
Pour in 1-1/2 teaspoons of contact lens solution.
Stir to combine until the glue mixture pulls away from the side of the bowl. It will be thicky and gloopy, but still quite sticky.
Step 4: Add foam beads
Measure out 1 cup of foam beads. Add about 1/3 of them.
Stir the foam balls carefully into the slime (they're pretty staticky, so if you're too rough they'll fly out of the bowl).
Add another 1/3 of the beads and stir. Then add the last bit and use your hands to push them into the slime.
Step 5: Stretch the slime and then let it rest
Once all the foam beads are part of the slime, pick it up and begin stretching and kneading it. It'll still be somewhat sticky, but it shouldn't stick to your hands.
Place the slime in an airtight container and let it rest for at least a few hours, or overnight.
Your crunchy slime is complete!Stretch the slime out to get air in it and bring it back together and squish to hear the popping and crackling sounds.
