How to Make Shampoo Slime

This shampoo slime is SO EASY to make, using only 2 ingredients! Mix shampoo and cornstarch to make this stretchy, dough-like slime -- no borax or fancy supplies needed.

Step 1: Find what you need

  • Gather your supplies and materials.

Step 2: Mix the ingredients

  • Add 1/4 cup of thick shampoo to a bowl.

  • Then add 1/4 cup of cornstarch. Stir to combine.

  • Add another 1/4 cup of cornstarch and 1 Tablespoon water. Again, stir well.

  • Pour in the last 1/4 cup of cornstarch (there should be 3/4 cup total in the mixture). Then add another Tablespoon of water.
    Stir to combine the ingredients as much as possible.

Step 3: Stretch with your hands

  • Use your hand to squish the mixture together while it's still in the bowl. If it feels too wet, sprinkle a tiny bit of cornstarch on top.

  • Once most of the cornstarch has been combined, pick the mixture up and squish it together. Try stretching it, and add a few more drops of water if the slime rips rather than stretches.
    Repeat until you're happy with the texture.
