Make spooky ghost slime that glows in the dark and is super soft and stretchy. Decorated with foam eyes and a ghostly mouth, it’s the perfect hands-on Halloween craft for kids!
Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and stir to combine.
Then, to make your ghost slime glow, add glow in the dark acrylic paint. We added 2 good squeezes (probably about 1 to 2 teaspoons).Again, stir to combine.
Step 3: Activate the slime and mix
To activate the slime, add 2-1/4 teaspoons of contact lens solution.
Stir the slime until it becomes thick and pulls away from the bowl.
When you can't stir the slime any more, pick it up and knead it with your hands. It might be a bit sticky at first, but after stretching the slime for a minute or so, it'll become nice and smooth.
Step 4: Create a ghost friend and watch it glow
To make your ghost slime extra ghost-like you'll need a plastic (or glass) cup and a scrap piece of black craft foam.
Cut eyes and a mouth for your ghost from the craft foam. Detail scissors work well to cut out the mouth, and the round eyes were made with a one hole punch.
Your ghost slime is complete!Place the slime over the bottom of the cup and let it ooze down. Add the foam face to the side, and then turn off the lights and watch your ghost slime glow!
