Chain 1 and insert 2 sc in each st around (an increase). Sl st in the first st to join the round. (12)

Ch 1 and *insert 1 sc in the first st. Inc in the next st.*Rep from * to * around. Sl st in the first st to join the round. (18)

Stuff the egg with fiber fill until it's firm and holds its shape.
Round 18:
Ch 1 and dec around. Sl st in the first st to join the round. (6)
Close off:
Fasten off the yarn, leaving a 4 inch tail.
Use the tail to sew a running st through the 6 final sts at the top.
Pull the tail to close off the gap and secure it with a knot.
Weave in the end by going down through the top center of the egg.
