Have fun making this sweet Easter bunny egg! This simple craft is perfect for beginners and a great activity for kids and adults to do together. With just a few supplies, you can create a cute bunny that’s ready to hop into your Easter decor!
Print the Easter bunny egg template (find the link in the materials list above!) and cut out the pieces.
Trace the ear template twice onto white cardstock and cut the pieces.
Use a light pink marker to colour the insides of the ears.
Trace the other template piece and cut 2 feet from white cardstock. Optional: Use the same pink marker to draw little cartoon rabbit foot pads on the bottoms.
Step 3: Attach the cardstock pieces to the egg
Hard boil an egg and allow it to cool. You can also use a plastic Easter egg.
Add a small amount of hot glue to the back side of one paper foot.
Attach it to the bottom of the egg so the toes are pointing to the side. Repeat with the other foot.
Add a dot of hot glue to the bottom (flat part) of the ears and attach them to the top of the egg.
Step 4: Add the final details
Draw the bunny's face onto the egg with black permanent marker.
Use light pink permanent marker to add rosy cheeks.
Add a small dot of hot glue to the bottom back of the bunny egg. Press a small white pom pom into the glue for the tail.
Your Easter bunny egg is complete!
Now have fun making a whole group, giving each adorable Easter bunny egg its own unique personality!
