Add a touch of Easter charm to your home with this simple and fun bunny butt flower pot craft! Kids and adults will love creating their own fuzzy bunny hiding in a pot.
Cut a 10 to 12 inch piece of yarn in the colour of your bunny. Place it between your middle and ring fingers, and then hold the ends with your thumb.
Wrap the same colour of yarn around all 4 of your fingers approximately 100 times.
Cut the yarn from the ball.
Bring one side of the 10 inch yarn (between your fingers) back to the front and tie it around the bundle.
Slide the bundle off your hand. Tie the yarn into a double knot around the center of the bundle.
Use fabric scissors (or other sharp scissors) to cut through the loops of yarn, creating a rough pom pom shape.
Give the pom pom a "haircut", trimming and shaping it until it's a round ball shape.
Step 3: Make the bunny's feet
Fold a piece of grey felt in half and cut out a bunny foot shape.
Cut oval pads from light pink felt, and then cut six tiny pink pieces for the toes.
Glue the foot pads and toes onto the grey felt feet.
Step 4: Glue the pieces to the pot
Add hot glue to the inside of a 2-1/2 inch clay pot.
Place greenery or flowers into the glue so they stick out of the pot. Hold them in place until the glue dries and they stay on their own.Add more flowers in, if you'd like.
Set the pom pom in the top of the pot. You can glue it if you'd like, but the plants will help keep it in place.
Glue the feet to the pom pom body with the toes pointing down.
Then glue a pom pom (or part of a cotton ball) onto the bum for a tail.
