Punch out a base from brown construction paper using the scalloped circle punch.
Roughly trace the scalloped circle onto a piece of cardboard.
Draw a circle about 1/4 inch inside this circle and cut out the smaller circle.
Use the punch to cut out 2 circles each from red, orange, and yellow paper.
Cut out a tiny beak (about 3/8 inch long) from orange felt.
Cut out a teardrop shape from red felt for the wattle, about the same size as the beak.
Step 3: Arrange and cut the feathers
Choose the colour that will be at the front of the feathers. Place a second colour circle just behind the first, sticking above about 1/4 inch.
Arrange all 6 of the scalloped circles like this, each one sticking out above the last one by 1/4 inch.Hold the circles together and make a fold at the bottom to make the feathery tail. The front circle should be folded roughly in half.
Separate the papers and grab the front one. Cut down between each of the scallops starting from the center.Start cutting on an angle as you reach the sides.
Cut all of the scalloped papers like this, creating the turkey's feathers. When you get to the last couple papers you don't have to cut all the way down. Especially as you make your way to the sides, make shorter cuts so that you don't cut off a previous feather.
Step 4: Assemble the turkey
Add glue tape to the back of the cardboard circle and attach it to the center of the brown scalloped circle base. The cardboard makes the bottom stronger so it will support the chocolate.
Add glue tape to the inside of the front feathers, along the uncut 1/2 of the circle.
Line up the next layer of feathers at the fold line. Make sure it's centered and then press it onto the glue tape.
Repeat until all the feathers have been added.
Add a glue dot to the bottom of a Hershey's Kiss.
Making sure that the cardboard piece is on the bottom, attach the Hershey's Kiss to the paper base, close to the front. Make sure there is room for your feathers behind the chocolate.
Add glue tape the bottom of the feathers and place them behind the Kiss on the base.
Step 5: Add the turkey's face
Use a toothpick to add glue to the back of a googly eye.
Add the eyes to the front of the Hershey's Kiss.
Add a bit of glue to the Kiss, below the eyes in the center.
Place the beak into the glue, and then repeat for the red wattle, adding it to the side of the beak.
