Hello! It’s Megan from Homemade Ginger and I’m back to share another fresh spring craft today! These little chick paper cups are so sweet and an absolute breeze to make.
My kids have been begging for a pet for a very long time. My two oldest daughters both recently informed me that they were the only kids in their classes that have no pets. I find that hard to believe, but I did feel a little twinge of mom guilt for depriving them.
They really want a dog, but they have let me know they would settle for almost anything – hamsters, guinea pigs, fish…and even baby chicks. I can’t blame them, chicks are super cute. But they turn into grown chickens very fast and this mama can’t handle this! Keeping my 4 children fed and clothed is all I can do right now!
Instead of buying real chicks, we can make lots of cute chick Easter crafts this spring. I know it won’t solve the “no pet” problem, but my kids loved these little chick paper cups. You can fill them with treats and use them in Easter baskets or on an Easter table. They are super easy too!
All it takes are a few materials to dress up yellow paper cups to make these sweet little chicks. These would be a hit at a party for take home favors!
Easter Chick Paper Cups
The printable instructions are at the bottom of this post, but here is what you will need:
- Yellow paper cups
- Googly Eyes

- Yellow Feathers
- Candy
- Glue Gun

Most of these items can be found at the dollar store to make this a very inexpensive craft!
They may not be as cute and cuddly as real baby chicks, but hopefully the kids will still be excited to see these little cups on Easter, filled with some yummy treats!
These little cups would be adorable on the kids table at Easter. Place them on each plate with some yummy Easter treats inside for the perfect kid-friendly table setting!
