Tape the keychain clasp to your working surface.
Fold one of the pink cords in half. Slide the looped end up through the clasp, pulling about 2 inches off to the right side.
Repeat with the second cord, this time placing the loop to the left.
Step 3: Secure the pink cords around the green
Place the center of the green cord under the pink cords, right below the clasp.
Make a lark's head knot with the right pink cords. To do this, place the loop under the green cord and then place the ends of the right pink cord down through the loop. Pull on the cord ends to tighten the lark's head knot next to the clasp.
Repeat, making a lark's head knot on the left side.
Step 4: Create the top of the flower
Place the right end of the green cord down to the left over all 4 cords, keeping a loop at the right side. Repeat with the left cord, placing it to the right with a loop on the left.
Now make a half hitch knot with the right 2 pink strands. Bring them up over the green loop and back down.
Repeat on the left side.
Hold the pink cords down towards the center with your thumbs while pulling the green cords out.
Continue, tightening the knot up against the lark's head knots.
Step 5: Knot the sides of the flower
Separate the cords so you can make a vertical lark's head knot with the right green cord and the rightmost pink cord.Bring the right green cord down and bring the pink cord to the left over the green, creating a loop on the right.Bring the pink cord back to the right under the green cord and up through its own loop.Pull the knot tight.
To make the second half of the vertical lark's head, place the right pink cord under the green. Then bring it over the green and back to the left through the green loop. Pull the knot tight.
Repeat, making 2 more vertical lark's head knots on the right, for a total of 3.Then make 3 vertical lark's head knots on the left.
Step 6: Add a bead and finish off the flower
Add a wooden bead to the center 2 pink strands. Push the bead up against the previous knots.
Arrange the green cords over the pink cords again, with the right cord going to the left and the left cord going to the right.
Make half hitches with the 2 center pink cords.Bring each cord up over the green and back down. Don't pull the knots tight yet.
Now make half hitches with the outer pink cords.
Pull the green cords while holding the pink ones down, creating a knot against the bead. This completes your first flower!
Step 7: Form a square knot below the flower
Make a square knot below the flower using the green cords.Take the left cord and bring it to the right over the pink cords and under the right green cord. Then bring the right green cord under the center cords and up through the loop.
Pull the knot tight and then make the second half of the square knot. This time start by putting the right cord to the left over the center pink cords and under the left green.Bring the left cord to the right under the center cords and up through the right loop.Pull the knot tight.
Step 8: Make the second flower and a square knot
Now set your cords just like you did after attaching the green cord at the beginning. We're going to be making another almost identical flower and square knot (following steps 4 to 7).
Repeat step 4, making the half hitches over the green cords.
Before making the vertical lark's head knots (step 5), bring the leftmost and rightmost pink cords into the center.
After completing step 5, repeat steps 6 and 7. This will form the rest of the second flower and the square knot.
Step 9: Make the third flower and a square knot
Repeat steps 4 to 7, making a 3rd flower and square knot.
Step 10: Finish off the keychain
