How to Make a Heart Doily Envelope
This adorable heart doily envelope only takes a minute to make, and it looks SO CUTE! Send your valentine in style this year with a delicate and lacy DIY envelope.

Equipment
- Scissors (to cut out valentines)
- Black marker (or pen)
Materials
- Free Printable Valentines
- Heart doily (8 inch)
- Glue stick
- Cardstock - Valentine's Day colours (to print valentines on)
- Foam heart sticker(s) (1 inch)
Instructions
Step 1: Find what you need
- Gather your supplies and materials.
Step 2: Fold the envelope
- Set your heart doily down with the back facing up and the point at the top (facing away from you).
- Fold the right and left edges in so they meet in the middle.
- Fold the top of the heart (the part close to you) up, creating the flat bottom of the envelope.
- Open the last fold and add glue stick to the inside of the envelope.
- Fold the bottom back up, smoothing down the fold, and hold it in place for a minute. This will help the doily stick to itself.
- Then fold down the point of the heart. This completes your envelope!
Step 3: Insert a valentine and seal the envelope
- Print our free Valentine's Day cards! (Find the link in the materials list above.)You can use regular paper or print them on coloured cardstock like we did.
- Cut out the valentine of your choice and sign the "To" and "From" areas on the back.Then slide the valentine inside the envelope.
- Close the envelope again and seal it with a foam heart sticker.
- Your heart doily envelope is complete!
