Wine glass painting is easier than you might think! This beginner-friendly craft turns plain glassware into pretty, hand-painted creations that are both fun to make and beautiful to display.
Begin by cleaning the outside of a wine glass well. Wipe the glass with rubbing alcohol and avoid touching the surface after. A clean, grease-free surface will help the paint adhere better.
Step 3: Paint the flowers
Painting only on the bottom 2/3 of the glass, use a fine tip brush to make the centers of the flowers with yellow multi-surface paint.Space the dots apart horizontally so that there's room to add the flower petals. Avoid painting anywhere you'll drink from.
Repeat, adding flower centers around the glass at different vertical heights.Avoid placing dots directly above or below one another. This will leave room to add flower stems underneath without any overlap.
Choose a paint colour for your flowers. Press the brush down 6 times around each dot to create petals, spacing the lines as evenly as possible.
Step 4: Add the stems
Paint stems for the flowers with green paint. Add tiny leaves at various heights going out from both sides of the stems.
Allow the paint to dry for 1 hour. Then cure in the oven according to your paint's instructions.Ours recommends placing the glass in a cool oven, heating the oven to 350F and baking for 30 mins. Then shut off the oven and allow the glass to cool in the oven until it reaches room temperature.
