Get to know you bingo is a fun and easy icebreaker that gets everyone talking, laughing, and learning something new about the people around them. Instead of listening for called-out pictures, like you would in a regular bingo game, this activity requires players to mingle with the group. Your goal is to find someone who matches each square, whether they have freckles, are left-handed, speak another language, or have a name that starts with a certain letter!
This simple printable game is perfect for classrooms, summer camps, youth groups, birthday parties, family reunions, team-building events, and other group gatherings. Choose the quicker 4×4 card or the more challenging 5×5 version, then see who can collect enough names or initials to shout “BINGO!” first.

How to play get to know you bingo:
- Print the cards: Choose either the full colour or low-ink version, then print one bingo card for each player.
- Meet the group: Players walk around and find people who match the descriptions in the squares. Some answers may be easy to spot (“You’re wearing yellow!”), while others require asking questions (“Do you speak another language?”).
- Sign the squares: When someone matches a square, have them write their name or initials in that space. For example, someone named Jackie could sign “has a ‘J’ name.”
- Keep mingling: Continue talking to different people and filling in the card. For more of a challenge, ask players to use each person’s name only once!
- Win the game: The first player to complete a full line across, down, or diagonally shouts “BINGO!” You can also keep playing until someone fills their entire card (!).
