Using an icing spatula (or butter knife), spread an even layer of chocolate frosting on the cupcake.
To make the "horns" or "ears" on the owl, place a small amount of frosting on your spatula. Press it into the icing then pull it away from the cupcake. You may need to repeat the motion a few times to get a perfect point.
Repeat on the right side to create a second horn.
Push down and twist an Oreo to separate the two sides. Repeat for a second Oreo. You only need the sides with the filling.
Center the Oreo halves filling side up on top of the cupcake.
Add a small dab of frosting to two brown Reese's Pieces. Press them onto the Oreo filling to make the owl's eyes.
For the owl's beak, press an orange Reese's Piece sideways in the frosting between the two eyes.
Your owl cupcake is complete!
