String or Embroidery Thread
Begin by tracing a child's hand onto a piece of card stock with a pencil.
Poke holes around the pencil outline with the needle. The holes need to be about 1/4 inch apart.
Erase the pencil lines.
Thread the string through the needle and make a knot at the end. Starting from underneath, thread the needle through one of the holes.
Keep threading the needle in and out of the holes until a handprint starts to form.
When the handprint is complete, tie a small knot at the end of the thread to secure it, and cut the excess.
Fold to make a card or frame it and put it on display!
