Print the sheep template (link in the list of materials above) onto white cardstock. Cut out the body, head, and ears of your choice.
Bend the sheep body slightly and snip inside the circle. Then slide your scissors in the gap and cut out the circle. Repeat for the second one.Make sure that an adult does this step.
Trace the head and ears onto black paper.
Cut out the ears and head from the black paper.
Step 3: Add cotton balls to the sheep's body
Add glue to the body of the sheep. Try to spread out the glue so it's not too thick, and make sure there are no bare areas.
Grab a cotton ball and rip it in half. Pull on the sides of the cotton ball to fluff it up.
Place the stretched out cotton ball onto the sheep body. We found it easiest to start on the outside.
Continue stretching out cotton balls and gluing them on until the entire sheep body is covered. You can rip the cotton balls into smaller pieces if needed.
Step 4: Make the sheep's face and attach it
Use glue tape to attach the ears to the sheep head at a bit of an angle.Check where you'd like the ears to be and only add the glue tape to that small area (where the ears and head will overlap).
Attach googly eyes to the sheep head with glue tape.
Draw a nose at the bottom of the sheep head, using a white or silver paint pen. (A white crayon would also work well.)
Attach the head to the side of the sheep's body with glue tape.Again, check where you want the head to go and only add the tape where necessary (some of the head will stick up above the body, and you don't want that part to be sticky).
