Add black, orange, white, and green acrylic paint to a paper plate or plastic lid.
Step 2: Paint jack-o-lantern spoon
Use the orange paint and a large brush to paint most of the spoon. You can leave the bottom few inches unpainted, or you can go back and paint the whole spoon once the top is dry.
Once the orange paint is dry (it shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes), use a pencil to draw a jack-o-lantern face on the spoon. We drew the face on the flat back of the spoon. Make two larger triangles for eyes, a small one for a nose, and a nice toothy jack-o-lantern grin.
Now use a small paintbrush to fill in your pencil drawings with black paint.
Step 3: Paint "BOO" spoon
Paint a spoon black and let it dry. Write the word "BOO" vertically down the back of the spoon.
Use the small brush and white paint to paint the letters.
Step 4: Paint Frankenstein spatula
Paint a wooden spatula green and allow it to dry. Draw the face details using a pencil. Make a zig zag pattern at the top for the hair, big rectangles for the eyebrows, and circles for the eyes.Draw a mouth and scars with little vertical lines on them. For the nose, draw a little rounded line.
Paint the details on Frankenstein. Fill in the hair and eyebrows with black paint. Also use the black for his mouth, nose, and scars. Fill in the eyes with white paint and then paint tiny black pupils in the center of them.
You can also create a black cat (with foam ears), a ghost, and a vampire.
Step 5: Paint the mason jar
Paint the outside of a 32 ounce (4 cup) mason jar with black acrylic paint. Allow it to dry for 20 minutes or so, and then apply a second coat of paint.
Allow the second coat to fully dry, and now you have a spooky holder for your Halloween wooden spoons!
Step 6: Arrange the spoons
Place raffia in the bottom of the jar to hold up the spoons.
Add the spoons to the jar and arrange them. Then add some more raffia to the jar so that it's sticking out a bit.
Finally, tie an orange ribbon around the neck of the mason jar and tie it into a bow.
Your Halloween wooden spoons are complete!

Notes
If you're painting multiple spoons, paint the base layer of paint on each first. By the time you're finished painting the last one, you can start drawing the face on the first!Set the spoons to dry on parchment paper with the back of the spoon facing up. You can also stick them in a foam block to dry.
