Instructions
Start by making the larger petals. Bend 1/3 of a yellow pipe cleaner.
Twist the same pipe cleaner at the end and make another bend to form two petals.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 with the remaining two pipe cleaners to form the rest of the larger petals.
Using a glue gun, attach the pipe cleaner petals together in the center.
Using another yellow pipe cleaner, repeat steps 1 and 2 making shorter bends to form the smaller petals. Make 3 small petals out of one pipe cleaner.
Make another 3 small petals out of the last yellow pipe cleaner. Glue the smaller petals on top of the larger ones with hot glue.
Attach a black button to the center with more glue.
For the stem, paint a popsicle stick with green paint.
Using green pipe cleaners, form 2 sets of leaves and glue them onto the stem.
Cut a piece of floral foam and glue it into the bottom of a small flower pot.
Insert the popsicle stick into the foam and cover it with shredded black paper to resemble dirt. Glue the paper down (optional)
Your pipe cleaner sunflower is complete!
