It’s that time of year when bunnies and chicks and eggs are popping up EVERYWHERE! Except for in my backyard of course since, well, we still have about 6″ of snow out there. Although, now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure there’s a small family of rabbits who live out in our bushes.
When I was walking my 5 year old to school this morning there were fresh bunny footprints on the sidewalk that we were following. I was so tempted to tell her they were the Easter Bunny’s footprints. But I didn’t, because somehow in my mind, the Easter Bunny is supposed to be at least 5 feet tall and the footprints looked too small. Do you picture the Easter Bunny as human sized? Or is that just me?
I was out shopping today and the stores are overflowing with Easter stuff! I stocked up on Easter craft supplies and I just can’t wait to try making a few of these simple Easter craft ideas with my kids! There was a point that I had to purge my cart because I realized had picked up about 4 differently sized craft foam Easter egg packages, and let’s face it, no one needs 8 dozen foam Easter eggs! At least not when there’s only two kids in the house who are old enough to do crafts!
