I’m always looking for crafts and art activities that my nearly 3 year old can do. She loves any kind of craft, but loses interest really fast! It’s hard to keep coming up with ideas to keep her busy! (Other than the squeeze-all-the-glue-out-of-the-bottle craft. She can’t get enough of that one!)
I came up with this Flower Craft Printable earlier today. (It’s my first printable, and I’m still learning, so go easy on me!). Leah seemed to really liked it, even though she didn’t quite have the dexterity to get everything right on the top of the flower stems. The crafts still turned out really cute! (But sadly photos of hers did not make the cut. Let’s just say that she likes to be thorough in covering the paper with things).
Bingo dabbers are so great for preschoolers (as long as they are supervised, otherwise you’ll end up with a huge mess!). They are like painting and markers all in one, and they make it super easy to make perfect little circles in your preschooler’s crafts.
My preschooler also loves punches. Plural because I sadly only own two. She’s just starting to be able to punch things so she thinks it’s great!
What do you do with all the buttons that come attached to your new pants, sweaters and blouses? I have kept every single button hoping they’d come in handy one day. My preschooler found the box I keep them in and had a blast pulling out all the different shapes and colours.
And there you have it. One free printable, three different craft ideas. You could put anything at the top of the stems really – dried beans, macaroni, pom poms, or you could even draw flowers. It’s a surprisingly versatile little craft!
